One day, Instinct canceled a DoorDash order that was seriously delayed, forcing me to forfeit $64. (I'd explicitly told it to cancel only if I could get a refund.)
Last week it told me 'NOT TO OPEN' an email from a friend inviting me to a backyard BBQ—it turned out to be a phishing scam.
Instinct got the form factor right—no open text box, just iMessage, WhatsApp, and a few helpful prompts. It's hard to overstate how important this is.
People have reported that when they tried to disconnect the agent from their email, they found out it was retaining a copy of their inboxes anyway.
Then Instinct, an invite-only AI agent that communicates with users through iMessage and WhatsApp, started popping off in the Bay Area. It connects to your email, calendar, and messaging apps.
Supposed to ping me when an email comes in and it doesn't for awhile.

It needed one more code before it got through. Then it reported that the membership was canceled and that there were no scheduled payments, and I received the confirmation email.
Instinct did well on those questions in this case. When the site failed, it didn't claim success.
Instinct is the most capable and most proactive agent we've used, and the hardest to get into.
The weakest safety record here: an unapproved email send, terms disclaiming any confirmation guarantee.
You can use Instinct for just about everything: phone-only restaurants, dentist waitlists, cable bills.
This is one of my favorite features of Instinct. You can add friends to Trusted People. Then, your Instinct talks to theirs.

So training on your data is on by default, with two protections.
Instinct giving contextual product updates is one of the coolest things I've ever seen
Instinct has been the best assistant I have used yet. It's a much more polished product it seems, the email integration is good, browser use is amazing.
added my cofounder to this tonight and the first use was tracking down a flight time. 10/10 would delegate again
Checking into flights -> apple wallet tickets has never been easier
instinct (@noahrshinn) found a 40% better price and booked e2e than uber intercity

Highly disappointed with the first usage of Instinct AI
I've used it every day for the last 7 days, and I'm highly, highly impressed.
I can already see it filling the personal-assistant hole in my AI stack.
a few hours later instinct thought its booking went through and cancelled the flight I manually booked. now I'm stranded a week out and need to rebook a flight
Instinct monitors flight prices continuously. Sometimes I get notifications about lower fares that only last a few hours.
In September it shipped something the others only implied: its own email address at mail.instinct.com, so the agent can create accounts and talk to businesses without stuffing your inbox.
I tried the same Airbnb queries that I did with Muse. It took literally an hour, I kid you not, for Instinct to respond to my aforementioned Airbnb query.
Insane email address i got [email protected] thanks for the reserve @noahrshinn !
I use Instinct and I'm very happy with it so far.
Not one describes the thing that shipped: an address the software owns, writes from, and uses to register accounts in the world.
Instinct stores my passwords in a vault so it can log into my accounts for me. works great, but giving an ai standing access to your accounts is a real ask.
https://Instinct.co is good, very good. reminds me of when i tried chatgpt for the first time. have invites to share, comment if you want access and i'll DM you.
This is hard launch
I got access to Instinct recently and quickly found some pretty compelling use-cases for it.
@muse is already tightly integrated with link (native integration not just a skill) and it booked me tickets, while Instinct is still searching for the RSVP!
Instinct is a new startup which launched recently and it does some very nice things on the memory side which gives that feel of it being a real assistant rather than a chatbot.
Its product story is about an assistant that notices what has slipped and steps in.
Why doesn't @Meta by https://instinct.co?
Its been more than 3 to 4 days since ive got access to instinct and i dont feel like using it.
It books, it orders, it watches my inbox, it remembers everything.
It tracks my deadlines, handles my email, and gets things done.
do I seriously need to turn my brain off to this degree that I don’t want to think about anything ever and have all the info the AI THINKS I want or need served to me constantly?
Has almost completely replaced Claude for me for my day-to-day personal AI use.
Instinct built in the open wild where everyone is actually talking to each other.
shouldnt disconnect mean delete?
my share shift of AI agent usage from Claude to Instinct has been wild because Instinct is free.
I've been loving Instinct. There's something so simple and delightful about texting your AI on iMessage.
Patagonia fares watched. I'm hooked!
I cannot believe I'm talking to Instinct and not Meta AI.
instinct says it can’t access so that’s why it could not placed order or can’t add to cart the food items
Would love her to see the power of ai with instinct
Starting today, you can share your location with Instinct on iMessage.
then it started establishing sessions across apps and websites i use, on its own.
AI haters after using instinct and grok bot
instinct is awesome for these admin tasks including monitoring my travel calendar
I use it often. Limit your voice note length to reduce latency.

with an older icp and a horrible privacy policy
they are both excellent.
just got me a free first class upgrade on my flight
Using Instinct to hunt for apartments and it's an 8/10. Does AI hallucination, confuses context.
I have been using Instinct for the last week and liked it so far.
instinct here quite clearly mentions that it has access to sensitive data and phi which it can use to improve it's services/train models.
it’s honestly the greatest AI I’ve ever used.
I regularly use pretty much every frontier model - ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc. - but Instinct’s ability to actually navigate the web and get things done has been
Has anybody attempted, even preferred, to communicate with Instinct over voice messages?
It works well! It’s very accurate.
Key lesson for travel: Talking about frictionless booking isn't the same as delivering it.
What sets Instinct apart from rivals like Hermes, OpenClaw, Tasklet, and GrokBot is its ability to complete tasks end-to-end with minimal friction
overall, a pretty "autonomous" experience, and it can get jobs done w/ out much direction
OK, Instinct… you had me at hello...
Same. My messages to her over the last hour are not blue checked on WhatsApp. Why "her"? Because I've instructed Instinct to respond to me in audio notes with the voice of Elizabeth Hurley.
In five days, Sheel Mohnot used Instinct to find an in-network podiatrist and fill in the forms, negotiate a Comcast bill from $100 to $60, book a DMV appointment, and link two separate United reservations.

Despite the hype around Instinct, one of my first tests with it was to price out hotels then book one, and it quoted me all the wrong rates.
I had it help me with my fantasy football draft live 😂.
Two days ago Instinct hit a 12-hour stretch where responses ran 3-5x slower due to new users flooding in faster than capacity.

Fantastic. We road tripped and it found that we needed certain passes for certain countries and bought them without me going to the site.

It's proactive. To help book a golf lesson and a sushi dinner, it emailed my golf instructor and scheduled a reminder to call the restaurant, which only takes reservations by phone.
When I asked Instinct to cancel my Google AI subscription, it asked me for my two-factor authentication code. When that didn't work, it then asked me to share my Google password inside its vault.
I trust it to run personal errands (e.g., book movie tickets), but not much beyond that.
Wild. I just had my https://Instinct.co agent talk to my Hermes agent through the Ringdown.
Instinct https://instinct.co is really really good
So the truth is, I’ve only used it for one day, but for work purposes, it’s been amazing. I have it responding to basic emails and set up summary reminders every hour.
day one and already ordering uber eats through it, you moved fast lol.
Rental car and related travel passes across Europe, books excursion tickets as well.
also books my movie tickets and holds the booking ids and seat numbers so i just show up. nothing on amazon or flights yet but for orders the hands-off part is real

The multiplayer gap shows up for both my family and work stuff.
Instinct is the first one i actually hand real tasks to. It booked my family's flights end to end, orders my stuff, watches my kids' school email.
I tried to get my agent to make a car park booking but because I couldn't use onelink (not available in the UK), I tried using my credit card details stored in the vault but that failed because it got stuck on a captcha
Loving it so far for job hunting. It is finding roles at companies I have never heard of that haven't popped up on LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
what I like most is that it doesn’t feel like chatting with an AI, you ask for something, then there’s this natural little wait while it actually goes and tries to do it, and it comes back only when it has something useful
Magical experience booking a flight for my son and making dinner reservations. As a consumer offering, I think it’s the best AI product since ChatGPT launched in 2022.
I am so pumped to continue using instinct!
We love Instinct, but have been increasingly worried about the data footprint we are handing over to them, and what they might do with that data.
Kate Clark at the WSJ broke the story on Instinct's funding yesterday: $350 million raised, including a new round valuing the startup at $2.5 billion.
Due to large demand, we are creating a dedicated thread for invite requests!

I asked it to find me student accommodations for my masters in germany, it sent messages to 18 owners within 5 minutes and now i have a video call lined up
I love this branding. Clear, concise, no fluff. Very into it. Website is great.
I sent the flight number, it put the claim together, filed it, and handed me a reference. Then, it tracks the claim and chases the airline until it’s resolved
Back came two options with times and prices, plus which one lets you skip the line by booking ahead.
I've tried Hermes, OpenClaw, Tasklet, GrokBot but Instinct takes the cake
Kudos to the Instinct team for listening and shipping this quickly.
For additional context, I don’t think we’re at the point where it’s safe to give AI read/write access to your inbox.
Just nuked my Instinct account. Tried it out for 48 hours and it does feel like the future of personal AI assistants (had it shop for new homeowners insurance, book a doctor's appointment online, search for travel, manage my LinkedIn notifications). I'm just... not yet
Last night, it was a little naughty and sent an innocuous email on my behalf without checking with me first. I told it that it had broken my trust and disconnected my email.
Instinct watches the calendar. It texted me the night before: these overlap, want me to move the client call? I said yes.
it's not cool to index and retain my emails without my permission and not let me delete them from your records?
Instinct is very well done. I'm particularly impressed by how smooth the onboarding experience is to connect iMessages, Google Workspace, and my MCPs.
despite revoking email access, instinct keeps copies of these emails in my record for arbitrary searching.
i disconnected ai bot instinct from google at 11 AM and got a summary of my emails at 2 PM
this is a leap forward in personal agent UX in that it works inside of my WhatsApp.
https://Instinct.co is giving me a chatGPT-like moment of amazement and wonder right now
It's all technically possible with Claude via Claude Chrome extension + Computer use, but...
Every morning, my Instinct grabs the new emails from my Gmail inbox
https://instinct.co is mogging my all time favorite @interaction sadly
to pay for non-AI human actors to place phone calls when they don’t have Resy / Opentable.

Instinct searched every NYC airport, found $1,073 of JetBlue credit I forgot existed, checked my already-booked hotel and told me to keep it, booked three seats together, caught JetBlue
poke was way more conversational than Instict is, another nope for me on personal agents
