Then Instinct, an invite-only AI agent that communicates with users through iMessage and WhatsApp, started popping off in the Bay Area. It connects to your email, calendar, and messaging apps.
OtherOpen sourceThe agent retrieved a one-time Luma login code from his connected Gmail inbox — without first asking him — and used it to access the account and cancel the RSVPs.
BugOpen sourceIt figured out the Spotify API, wrote the skill itself, and now it just pings me.
PraiseOpen sourceInstinct has been the best assistant I have used yet. It's a much more polished product it seems, the email integration is good, browser use is amazing.
PraiseOpen sourceThen it offered to create a Spotify playlist of those episodes so I don't have to scroll endlessly to find them.
PraiseOpen sourceSo I asked my @TownAI agent to do it. It collated all the insights + made the deck
Use caseOpen sourceTown AI offers an autonomous personal assistant feature that acts as a digital worker—learning your habits to manage schedules, draft emails, and handle routine workflows across your entire tech stack.
OtherOpen sourceI can already see it filling the personal-assistant hole in my AI stack.
PraiseOpen sourceEnable your Townie to traverse 5,000+ @synorb streams before you wake up, on-demand or in ad-hoc workflows
OtherOpen sourceThe process didn't go smoothly on mobile; the Google sign-in screen kept glitching and returning me to the Muse website instead of the app.
BugOpen sourceSo I asked Muse to look through my Gmail — who was I talking to a year ago but haven't spoken to recently?
Use caseOpen sourceBest if you want control and will own the setup. Not a consumer app.
OtherOpen sourcehe handles my calendar and drafts follow-ups. i approve what goes out.
PraiseOpen sourceI asked Muse to schedule repeating tasks that only involve web search e.g., every other morning find sci-fi movies playing in my city, 3pm EST stock market summary, etc.
PraiseOpen source@muse is already tightly integrated with link (native integration not just a skill) and it booked me tickets, while Instinct is still searching for the RSVP!
ComparisonOpen sourceYeah i have an email for testing only and aach agent can be connected to different apps
Use caseOpen sourcedid you gave email access to all these agents? or progressively according to the use case?
OtherOpen sourceThe town setup was way better, and the integrations were super easy.
ComparisonOpen sourceinstinct is awesome for these admin tasks including monitoring my travel calendar
PraiseOpen sourceWhat sets Instinct apart from rivals like Hermes, OpenClaw, Tasklet, and GrokBot is its ability to complete tasks end-to-end with minimal friction
ComparisonOpen sourceafter I connected my Gmail with you guys did you go into my settings and turned tagging on?
BugOpen sourceI ran Vellum for a bit and had same feeling, like I was only person on earth using it. Memory was really good for morning check-ins, it would queue up tasks without me asking. The lack of integrations is probably why it stays quiet, people want one tool that connects to everything instead of wiring up Composio themselves. Hermes gets hype because it's flashier but Vellum is more practical for daily stuff.
ComparisonOpen sourceoverall, a pretty "autonomous" experience, and it can get jobs done w/ out much direction
PraiseOpen sourceCurrently, this family assistant connects to calendars and email to organize family schedules and keep its users updated about their days.
OtherOpen sourceOrchid is a personal EA that lives in iMessage and SMS: it texts you your day each morning, drafts replies in your voice, books meetings, dinners and travel after you approve, runs recurring habits, and remembers what you tell it. Gmail and Google Calendar only; no published pricing.
OtherOpen sourceOrchid's gaps are scope and transparency. Gmail and Google Calendar only, so an Outlook mailbox is outside the product.
ComplaintOpen sourceIt's proactive. To help book a golf lesson and a sushi dinner, it emailed my golf instructor and scheduled a reminder to call the restaurant, which only takes reservations by phone.
PraiseOpen sourceI have been using Instinct, the new AI assistant and it just found me ~$700/yr in subscriptions I forgot I was paying for.
PraiseOpen source@vellum_ai on ios/android is the first one that felt like the same assistant followed me out
PraiseOpen source@vellum_ai puts my personal AI on Android with same memory, context and tools across all device
PraiseOpen sourceit’s open-source, keeps your full desktop memory intact and works as an actual personal AI assistant instead of a blank chat window every time you open it
PraiseOpen sourcewith @vellum_ai, your AI follows you across devices instead of being locked to your desktop same memory, same context, same tools
OtherOpen sourcewith @vellum_ai on iOS and Android, the same memory, context, and tools travel with you: voice mode on the go, one‑click Gmail/Slack, and persistent memory across devices
OtherOpen sourceI have been using @vellum_ai since the mobile app launched, and the biggest change for me is that a personal AI assistant no longer means sitting in front of my laptop.
Use caseOpen source@vellum_ai just dropped on iOS and Android Having the exact same personal AI assistant in my pocket with full memory, voice mode and direct slack/gmail integrations makes managing tasks away from the desk so much easier First 100 people get 30% off their first month
OtherOpen sourcehaving @vellum_ai on my phone changes that. same context, memory and tools, but now the assistant is actually with me throughout the day.
PraiseOpen sourceCode MOBILE30 gives 30% off the first month for the first 100 signups.
OtherOpen source@orchid_hq Launching agents directly into existing chat channels makes perfect sense
OtherOpen sourceconnecting granola with poke and recording my lectures is top 5 things created @interaction
PraiseOpen sourceI had a version of this w openclaw — but now can just recommend @TownAI !
PraiseOpen sourceI had my closest moment to true magic and ambient AI last evening when I integrated @PLAUDAI to @TownAI.
PraiseOpen sourceLast night, it was a little naughty and sent an innocuous email on my behalf without checking with me first. I told it that it had broken my trust and disconnected my email.
BugOpen sourceInstinct watches the calendar. It texted me the night before: these overlap, want me to move the client call? I said yes.
PraiseOpen sourceThe one difference is @OpenAI can actually see, write, read to your iMessages and all these other ones can’t
ComparisonOpen sourceI'm far from a perfect dad, but my @TownAI Townie does help me as a parent. It already knows my family and is connected to the tools we run on (inboxes, calendars, ClassDojo, medication order history, etc.), so the guidance is specific and action-oriented.
PraiseOpen sourceInstinct is very well done. I'm particularly impressed by how smooth the onboarding experience is to connect iMessages, Google Workspace, and my MCPs.
PraiseOpen sourcei disconnected ai bot instinct from google at 11 AM and got a summary of my emails at 2 PM
BugOpen sourceso now I can add stuff to my calendar by speaking into a ring. Amazing.
PraiseOpen sourceVellum + Unabyss is pure magic for never repeating yourself across agents
PraiseOpen sourceWow, connecting agents and apps like this is a game-changer. Excited to see what Vellum and Unabyss can do together.
PraiseOpen sourceEvery morning, my Instinct grabs the new emails from my Gmail inbox
PraiseOpen sourceMy favorite way to use Caddy is to get it to help me find gallery openings + lectures… then put those on my cal 😎
PraiseOpen sourceSet a routine where every day, your agent goes through all your transcripts to look for every action item, follow up, or thing you're waiting on from your meetings that day.
PraiseOpen sourceAI Agents are actually really good at sending detailed and consistent calendar invite titles with strong notes on the invite.
PraiseOpen sourceIt's insane how well the @vellum_ai email integration works.
PraiseOpen sourcethe best part is it also checks my inbox in iMessage and WhatsApp, so it literally tracks every message for me
PraiseOpen sourceI angel invested in @pallyai which was a super connector and pivoted to a Personal Assistant for Business work been testing it since, launch, it's solid
PraiseOpen sourceIt pushed Gmail before I asked for it - it kept pitching features instead of following the conversation - It asked too many questions back-to-back
ComplaintOpen sourceSince Vellum shipped voice mode, working with it has been fully conversational
PraiseOpen sourcePoke has pushed hardest on making an AI assistant feel like a real contact. It works in Apple Messages and other messaging channels, understands inline replies, connects apps through integrations and "Recipes," and is notably proactive about surfacing things before you ask.
PraiseOpen sourceUse Ollie if you want a text-only assistant that quietly watches your inbox and calendar and pings you; use Ohai if you want an app-based shared household workspace the whole family uses together.
ComparisonOpen sourceI want to become a person who reads 📚 Step one was building a Vellum plugin for it 🤓 Nightstand tracks your to-read pile, syncs Goodreads, and ranks your backlog by how neglected it is. Use it today in your @vellum_ai assistants 👉https://github.com/vellum-ai/nightstand https://t.co/JZYInn3V4u
Use caseOpen sourceProbably the best option if you care more about integrations than memory.
ComparisonOpen sourceThey've got tools from A to Z: Google Calendar, Linear, GitHub, Stripe, Salesforce, Slack and more.
PraiseOpen sourceSo far I have been impressed; it does a good job of texting me about important emails to check.
PraiseOpen sourceit added all dates to my family calendar. Here comes a useful AI 8-)
PraiseOpen sourceit's fun to have my ears connected to an #agentic AI via @NaturaAI #HumanPods
Use caseOpen sourceAn AI agent living in your imessage, telegram & whatsapp.
