@uzaxirr
· X

The product feels very slow and degraded and no new product updates post acquisition.

@capitaltruist
· X

@interaction (useful, but annoyingly flippant), Instinct (incredibly capable, but not integrated with iMessage like Poke).

@aarozco
· X

i let @interaction + gpt 6 astra be my growth eng i now have a receipt deck that i flick away to check my transactions

Fabric

Acquired by Cognition July 2026. Future uncertain.

Nir Sabato
· catchagent.ai

Poke is an assistant you chat with over text, and honestly, it’s pleasant to use. The catch is the audience.

@vdhCapital
· X

I have the same thing on poke / @interaction, basically free and less privacy issues… really don’t get why mainstream VC X is obsessed with instinct when poke has been around for over a year

@prathitjoshi_
· X

With instinct, poke and openclaw the biggest issue is the lack of tasks that i want to automate

@furkan_plus
· X

I love Poke but it feels like he is getting dumber everyday I feel like I have to correct him every time we need something a little bit of nuance I already told him to lookup recent info before committing but he still makes mistakes frequently.

@RPavuluri
· X

Interesting to think about how https://Poke.com was the exact same product thesis as Instinct, just a tad early. Got so much exactly right looking back.

@essenaoeomeeks
· X

Poke AI getting worse after being bought by cognition

@Aikun011
· X

I dont need a wall of text what i need is a easy to Talk to main orchestrator whom summarizes and ensures that i know

@bhanumayankjha1
· X

Still the interface choosen is primitive, we will see next cycle of improvements there.

@1_missthesun
· X

iMessage based agent products will always fail. it is extremely obvious why.

@martinsaiventrs
· X

My iMessage agent stack right now

@sdrth
· X

Tried Instinct as much I could, Poke still wins for me @interaction

@PerrinMyerson
· X

Would’ve loved to see what @interaction could’ve been with 350m

@JoelHainzl
· X

Meanwhile Poke by @interaction quietly surpasses 200,000,000 messages, growing 2x from only a few weeks ago, while being acquired by @cognition

@theaaron
· X

not sure where @interaction Poke is headed now

@LifeByThunder
· X

honestly the @FTC needs to look into this as fraud from the VCs

@0x_Osprey
· X

VCs really saw the Poke/@interaction acquisition and asked themselves "what would happen if we paid x2-x10 the price for a smaller team, inferior product and non existent business"

@mildlysupreme
· X

lol was literally about to tag @interaction but realized they reposted this

@__ansht
· X

when @interaction helped me get on a call with YC partner at midnight

Bro just gets my random intrusive thoughts at 2 AM 😭

@yoayush
· X

poke @interaction is not just genie now, it’s the fastest genie. great memory too.

@headsetpipeline
· X

@interaction had such a funny onboarding flow that you had no choice but to pay

@pitdesi
· X

I’ve been using poke since it came out! It can’t do any of the things I described in my post.

@aretaidos
· X

The one difference is @OpenAI can actually see, write, read to your iMessages and all these other ones can’t

@MikeWallsQC
· X

so now I can add stuff to my calendar by speaking into a ring. Amazing.

@jackson23_x
· X

I’ve had 4 big months with Hermes and loving it. Not tried bots yet.

@tursodatabase
· X

Poke went with @tursodatabase to make sure that each of those websites would have its own database.

@TheInnerReality
· X

😭 I want a refund @interaction

anr0
· Hacker News

it seems quite obvious that imessage is the best venue for consumer agents why was poke not a success?

@alikhvni
· X

bro to bro, i'm about to change your life

@_kelindi_
· X

2 months later it stuck but only for image gen for random memes. also replaced chatgpt for her random questions but that's it.

@Dillon_Carter
· X

Moved cross-country and @interaction had all my car registration paperwork researched and ready before I walked into the RMV. In and out in 15 minutes.

@brycent
· X

most fun you will ever have checking your email

@PPaloju
· X

currently it’s largely an email reader, a to do list, and a very funny bot (amazing product btw)

Florian Pariset
· notis.ai

Poke has pushed hardest on making an AI assistant feel like a real contact. It works in Apple Messages and other messaging channels, understands inline replies, connects apps through integrations and "Recipes," and is notably proactive about surfacing things before you ask.

Right now I’m using saner ai instead of poke ai, because it has the proactive day brief

Austin
· saner.ai

It gets time wrong, which is unforgivable for a product about time. Its email judgment isn't sharp enough to trust unsupervised.

ComplaintProactive helpPersonalityEmail repliesOpen source
Austin
· saner.ai

Working with it "still feels like working with a clever, caffeinated toddler sometimes."

Austin
· saner.ai

one user wrote a one-star review after weeks of use, arguing that basic email checks took fifteen minutes or more when they worked at all.

Austin
· saner.ai

Privacy also comes up more than the marketing suggests. One writer admitted abandoning onboarding on the first attempt out of concern about data access.

Austin
· saner.ai

It's more capable than Poke on email specifically, with prebuilt routines for inbox triage, meeting briefings, and expense logging.

u/michaeltabuac8

For my use case at least, Daimon has probably been the best Poke alternative so far.

agent-finder
· agent-finder.co

three-plus step chains dropped closer to 60% success without follow-up clarification.

@LordArche
· X

now it's broken w/ a database lock

@m_d_br
· X

it is the most "fun" AI I have ever used!

@brockandru
· X

I’ve been missing the message backgrounds, reactions… the things that made poke feel… different

@Gentraxyz
· X

generally Poke is almost instant. While Orchid takes like 3-5 seconds.

u/Alone-Coyote3916
· Reddit

Probably the best option if you care more about integrations than memory.

@furkan_plus
· X

I’m having issues triggering two automations daily do I need the pro for that? All I want is ai news which already has a recipe and exchange rates for the day poke keeps forgetting

@TatataToddC
· X

I love Poke, it's amazing.

u/pennygadget6
· Reddit

I love the concept but it's been pretty finicky, like it's lost all of its past training/context - it only gives me water reminders and a gratitude check in.

@interaction
· X

Now officially approved by Apple to text on Apple Messages.

aitoolblaze
· aitoolblaze.com

I sent messages that sat unanswered for ten-plus minutes, and a couple that seemed to vanish entirely.

u/Rattle333
· Reddit

You gotta get in on this! Poke AI changed my life within 15 minutes of starting to use it.

@cemvogt
· X

Planned an entire Hamburg trip for the group — train from Berlin, sightseeing spots, restaurant for 6, things to do around our hotel

@RubberDucky_AI
· X

Poke has been an amazing entry into my AI Agentic portfolio.

@danmaruchi
· X

it's really good at helping me plan trips. i exclusively used poke as my ai assistant while travelling back to the us from japan (with a stop in hawaii), it helped me in every step from boarding times to itinerary planning

tanishasrivatsa
· tanishasrivatsa.substack.com

If you couldn't tell by now, I'm a fan of Poke.
