How this report works

Included are assistants whose catalog tagline (checked 2026-10-26) says they have long-term memory, remember you or learn your life or work. That is a claim from each product's own description, not a test result. They are ranked by the average of all ten tests, with at least five taken; the Memory test is one of the ten. Scores come from the published score sheet and are dated 2026-10-27. 4 of the 6 ranked assistants (Luke, Familiar, Vellum and Today) carry pre-filled scores, which are placeholder estimates the site has not yet replaced with its own test runs, so treat their places as provisional. Hark and Town are not pre-filled.

How to choose

  • Separate the claim from the score. Every assistant here says it remembers, but their Memory scores run from 5 to 10, so open the Memory section on each page.
  • Check whether you can see and change what it remembers. Hark says memory can be reviewed, edited or deleted by asking the agent or in settings, and Familiar says memory is readable, correctable and can be told to forget.
  • Remember that Memory is one test out of ten. Town and Luke rank high on the average mainly through other tests (Connected apps, Travel booking), so use the dedicated memory report if memory is the only thing you care about.

Which AI assistant has the best long-term memory?

Among the six that claim it, Hark has the top Memory score (10), then Vellum and Town (7 each). Hark and Town are not pre-filled; Vellum is, so its place is provisional.

How was long-term memory decided here?

By each catalog tagline as checked on 2026-10-26: Vellum says long-term memory, Luke and Hark say they remember you, Familiar remembers things, Today learns your life and Town learns your work. Memory scores come from the tests.

Can I delete what an AI assistant remembers?

Hark and Familiar both say you can review, correct or delete memory, and Alfi lets you turn memory off. See the report on assistants with memory controls for those three.

I ran Vellum for a bit and had same feeling, like I was only person on earth using it. Memory was really good for morning check-ins, it would queue up tasks without me asking. The lack of integrations is probably why it stays quiet, people want one tool that connects to everything instead of wiring up Composio themselves. Hermes gets hype because it's flashier but Vellum is more practical for daily stuff.
