How this report works
Included are assistants whose catalog entry (checked 2026-10-26) lists at least three channels, tested on at least five of the ten tests. Four more with three or more channels (Folk, Orchid, Joshu, Brea) have fewer scores and are left out. They are ranked by the average of the tests they took. Scores come from the published score sheet and are dated 2026-10-27. 7 of the 11 ranked assistants (Luke, Friday, Nessi, OpenClaw, Persona, Alfi by Text.ai and Lucas) carry pre-filled scores, which are placeholder estimates the site has not yet replaced with its own test runs, so treat their places as provisional. Town, Pally, Wajo / Fo and tinyNature are not pre-filled.
How to choose
- Count the chat apps, not the app. Pally and Alfi list iMessage, SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram, while Town lists WhatsApp, Telegram and an app.
- Check that features match across channels. Alfi's messaging channels have a lower allowance (8 messages every 12 hours) than its app, so a long list of channels does not mean the same service on each.
- Do not pick on breadth alone. The widest lists (Alfi with five channels, Lucas with four) sit in the bottom half on score.
