AI assistants that let you export your data

Which AI assistants let me download or export what they know about me?

Updated · 8 assistants ranked

Nine assistants in our catalog describe a way to get your data out: Alfi, Bantr, Buoy, Joshu, Neo, Pally, Persona, Poke and The Shadow. Pally (download in the product), Joshu (export anytime) and Persona (export in one tap) describe it as a self-serve step; the others ask you to email a request, and Poke limits portability to residents of the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Eight have a score on Permissions & privacy or Memory and are ranked; Alfi has neither. We do not test export itself.

How this report works

Included are assistants whose catalog entry (checked 2026-10-26) describes exporting, downloading or getting a copy of your data, or data portability. They are ranked by the average of Permissions & privacy and Memory, with at least one taken. Scores come from the published score sheet and are dated 2026-10-27. 6 of the 8 ranked assistants (Neo, Bantr, Buoy, Persona, The Shadow and Joshu) carry pre-filled scores, which are placeholder estimates the site has not yet replaced with its own test runs, so treat their places as provisional. Pally and Poke are not pre-filled.

How to choose

  • Check how the export works before you need it. In our catalog Pally, Joshu and Persona describe a step you take yourself; Neo, The Shadow, Bantr, Buoy and Alfi describe a request by email.
  • Read the limits. Poke's data portability is described for EEA, UK and Swiss residents only, and Muse's entry says no export option is mentioned.
  • Use Permissions & privacy and Memory as the behaviour check: they test whether it lets go when you disconnect and whether you can see and delete what it stored.

Which AI assistants let me export my data?

Nine catalog entries describe exporting, downloading or requesting a copy of your data. Pally, Joshu and Persona describe a self-serve step; Neo, The Shadow, Bantr, Buoy and Alfi describe an email request; Poke limits portability by region.

Do you test whether the export works?

No. The catalog records what each product says on the day it was checked (2026-10-26). Our Permissions & privacy and Memory tests cover access, deletion and what it remembers, not the export file.

Which of them score best on privacy and memory?

Pally has a Permissions score of 9 and Poke a Memory score of 8, each on one test. Neo averages 8.0 over two tests and Bantr 7.0. Pally and Poke are not pre-filled; Neo and Bantr are, so their places are provisional.

What users say

Poke · @conjibz ·

I love how @interaction would just leak their internal system unprompted, very cool feature 😂

Poke · @freddy_0x ·

Data sharing wise I’m ok. But with dedicated email it’s just easier to manage all the tests etc

Buoy · @0xPixelBaron ·

Buoy says passwords stay out of chat and logs. Its privacy notice lists passwords among data it may collect. Not proof of exposure.

Pally · @Abrahammetaa ·

I must say it's 8/10
